Praying mantis

Can you see the mantis in the center of the begonia?
 
Here it is closer up. 
 
We have quite a few praying mantises around here.  Do you see many where you are?

    Very seldom around here. but I stop and just observe when I do find one. An amazing insect.
    Pretty color also in the shot.

    We are back to heavy rain, Sherry just got a weather alert, flash floods around. We are on high ground here, but we do have some low lands here int he area.
