Wild salad additions

There are lots of plants coming up in spring that you can add to your salad if you want to walk on the wild side.  This evening I picked a few leaves of sorrel and chickweed and a few blossoms of violets to add to a salad.  What I was craving the most, though, was that hard cooked egg and those microwaved asparagus chunks. 

In other news, the garden peas have emerged.
The birds are also nesting.  I caught this mourning dove calling on the deck rail yesterday.
It's spring!
