Lunar eclipse

I took a look at the lunar eclipse this morning.  The moon was low in the west.  By the time I set up and finished shooting my pictures, it was just starting to sink behind the trees back of my neighbor's house.  You can see the silhouette of a tree along the lower right edge of the moon in this picture.
Now I'm singing "When the Saints Go Marching In."
"Oh, Lord, I want to be in that number when the moon turns into blood."
It was a pretty spectacle.  I hope you had a chance to enjoy it.

  1. We missed it, but thanks for the picture. I love the song: they sing that a lot in New Orleans....I like the song 'When the saints Go marching In', even when not in New Orleans! (smile).
