More "Yellow Bird"

There's something about a yellow bird.

When my son took piano lessons, we encountered the popular Haitian folksong "Yellow Bird."  I thought it was a very catchy tune.  I've talked him into playing it for me on the guitar.  This is a guitar someone gave him.  I think Caleb only needed to get nylon strings and maybe pegs to make it playable.
Turn the sound way up; it is not a loud recording.
"Yellow Bird" is a good whistling song, and I find myself occasionally whistling it, especially when I'm outside.

  1. Sherry said it was good. I guess Caleb plays anything with strings. he is good and I love 'picking vs banging or beating. speaking of noise! We just had the loudest thunder BANG I have ever heard. It sounded like a 12" naval gun.. sounded like it was next door but we did not lose power...

I'm off, love from the Piedmont.
