Barney... FIKE?
A running gag on The Andy Griffith Show was that whenever Deputy Barney Fife's name appeared in the newspaper, it was misspelled Fice or Fike.
Caleb's name was spelled Knott rather than Knox in the write up on his band in the Franklin Weekly.
Caleb jokingly muttered "Barney Fike!" when he saw that.
