"One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter."

Friday, after car number one and car number two broke down, ds was summoned to rescue his parents.  Dh still had his bags to deliver, but we were unable to access the building at the drop off.  (If we had known that, we could have gotten home at 2:00 am instead of 3:00 am.)  On the bright side the three deer we saw stayed on their side of the road.
Yesterday, we went to fetch (5 hour round trip) car number two which supposedly has a new alternator.  Unfortunately whatever repairs were made did not fix the problem and car number two is sitting on the shoulder of the interstate 75 miles from here.
