We got snow on Wednesday. Today I went out with a ruler and measured about 5 inches in a few spots. It was pretty, though it makes for a tough time for those who have to be on the highway, especially when it thaws a little then refreezes overnight.

Five inches is a good snow for North Carolina. I know it is tough on the roads for a day or two, but the kids love it. Getting out of school and making a snowman, some for the first time in their lives. The pictures are beautiful.
