A week ago, I enjoyed a game of putt putt with my two menfolk. I hadn't played in ages, and it was a nice diversion. The course is an incredibly noisy place next to a busy highway and a go-kart track, but the designer made use of waterfalls to help mask the sound.
It was nice to have an outing as a family.
You do understand that is how many preachers started out. First a guitar, then a golf club! LOL Yes, family outings do have a special place. It seems to draw the knot tighter, unusual this day and time, but refreshing.

I don't think my menfolk would trade a guitar for a golf club ever. Putt putt was a nice outing, but music is what they "breathe."
